The Choice

The Choice

The choice is stark but the choice need not be dark.  All we have to understand is that we are the ones that are in command when it comes to our selection for this election.  The future need not require a suture.  It can be as bright as we choose to make it.  Subterfuge is that of smoke and mirrors and so we can break it.

Our universe is diverse and so we need not put the car in reverse.  The ship will not be sinking if we implement forward thinking.  Disunity need not be let go with impunity.  We can squelch it with the hope of the vote.  We can squelch it with the freedom of religion for one and all to practice without ill will and we can squelch it by inviting every race, creed and gender to the table.  This will make our great country even more able.

We are better than demeaning those that we oppose.  We can lift them up as well as those willing to take the journey towards the movement towards improvement.  Rather than obstruct let us choose to construct a better land where one and all are invited to take a stand.  Let us look to work together so as to take care of each other.  Let us have respect for each father, sister, mother and brother.  Let not the numbers in jail swell.  Let us establish an environment where one and all can excel.

Let our focus be pure of thought where we can all come to understand the plan and where we disagree know that we don't have to automatically upend it but know that we can work to amend it.  The precipice that's so often painted to be dark where one will fall into a pit of death can serve as a jumping off point where we can fertilize the valley below so as to watch the seeds grow.  Let our destination be one of education where our students are not strapped by the depths of debt.

The choice is one of opportunity.  The choice is one of diversity and the choice is one of hope for a brighter future that we can build together.  So let us fly like birds of a feather where we welcome one and all and where we help those who look to fall.  The daring is in the caring.  The challenge is to overcome malice and the answer to the question is in our willingness to take control of our fate with which to make this great nation one of salvation.  All you have to understand is that we are the ones that are in command.
